Our stair treads are made to order in any size and configuration, straight, spiral, circular, winder, landings and available in all our standard wood species plus curly oak. To minimize the customary seasonal shrinkage and swelling problems associated with solid wood treads we manufacture our treads using 1/8 inch thick book matched veneer laminated on a 1 inch thick core of Baltic birch plywood and edged with a solid 2 inch wide nosing. The result is a flat, stable tread, sanded to 120 grit and ready for installation.
